Whitney Eve Port (born March 4, 1985) is an American television personality, clothing designer, model and occasional actress. She is most notably recognized for appearing on the MTV reality television series The Hills and later, as the narrator of her own show, titled The City. She is a former fashion contributor for Teen Vogue and used to work for Diane von Fürstenberg.
As of 2007, Port's parents, her brother, Ryan, her sisters, Ashley, Paige and Jade, also live in Los Angeles, California.
Port, who is by her own admission not as comfortable with the spotlight as her other costars, explained her decision not to move in with Lauren Conrad and Audrina Patridge in season three of The Hills: "I prefer to keep some things private." Nonetheless, she eventually allowed MTV to produce a spin off from The Hills, her own show titled The City.
